Attic Flooring & Fitted Furniture, Sandymount
For this project, the GT Carpentry team were enlisted to assist with the renovation of an attic of an old Georgian period home.
Storage units and shaker style doors were custom made and built into the eaves. A new floor was also laid which required intricate cuttings to carefully fit the floor to the exposed brick wall.
A curved window was also custom made, primed and fitted to maintain the character of the room in combination with the exposed brick wall.
The GT Carpentry team also fitted new skirtings to the room and provided tiling for the new modern bathroom.
This project was quite labour intensive. The home was in immaculate condition and to maintain this, all cuttings were completed outside in front of the property. As the attic was up three flights of stairs, this meant quite a bit of work, which was entirely worthwhile!
