Project Description:

This stunning bedroom fitout project was custom designed and built from scratch to encapsulate the customer’s dream bedroom.

The entire floating bed unit was custom made from a modern black oak vinyl which allows the wood grain effect to come through as light hits it. The unit is inset with inlays of solid ash strip and the impressive handles are from Buster and Punch.

The feature wall was also custom made with flip-down side drawers and open-top drawers behind the bed, all of which are soft-closing drawers.

The strip lights underneath the top set of drawers and brass backed bedside lights complete the chic look that would rival most high-end hotels.

Handmade and Intricate Work

This project included a lot of intricate work to bring the client and the designer’s vision to life, from the careful handling of the black wood to the coordination with the electrical works. Everything was handmade including the bed, shelving, wardrobes, floors, skirting and feature wall.

With so much attention to detail, the high end nature of the work and the incredible end product, this certainly ranks in the top three bedroom fitouts the GT Carpentry team have completed.

Time To Complete

With 6 weeks worth of preparation work in the GT Carpentry workshop, this project took just 2 days on site to complete.
