Custom Poplar Staircase, Wicklow

Project Description:

This stunning poplar staircase was custom made for a home in Wicklow. Not your standard staircase, everything about it has been designed to be oversized so it is in-keeping with the rest of the timber structures in the home.

Feature Piece

As the first thing visitors see when they walk in the front door, the staircase is a feature piece of the home leading up to the impressive mezzanine on the first floor.

A lot of sanding and preparation was required to ensure that the staircase was just right prior to painting and the client was delighted with the end result.

The team at GT Carpentry were delighted to be able to organise all of the painting and decorating as part of the project as well.

Time Taken

This staircase was installed in just 3 days, with a total project time of 6 weeks from order to install which allowed for the home to be measured, designs to be created and the staircase to be made.
