Project Description:

The whole team at GT Carpentry is proud of the work we did creating this incredible outside living space.

Custom-designed and incredibly detailed work including 6 layers of rendered finish and one of the longest pieces of steel we have ever installed (9 metres to be exact!)

Features

For this project, our client had a vision of what they wanted to achieve, right down to an initial sketching of the completed works and the team were delighted with the opportunity to turn their dream into a reality.

The client wanted the newly renovated garden structures to look like a part of the property, matching the same render, style, design, and finish.

The client’s garden was in pristine condition before work began so the team put a lot of focus on protecting everything in the garden, including taking videos of the exact locations of all of the plants trees so they could be replaced exactly where they were beforehand. 

The stunning gas fireplace was constructed with steel and provides incredible ambiance, with storage space for display logs included underneath. It is fed via a gas line running to a gas bottle in the storage shed. The fireplace was finished with magnesium paint to protect it from tarnish.

The GT Carpentry team installed all of the garden lighting which creates an incredible atmosphere as the sun begins to set, with new lighting on top of the structure to show off the roof and overhanging trees at night.

There were also plenty of outdoor power points installed as well – perfect for entertaining!

What a stunning place to spend a day in the sun, an evening of relaxation, or a night of entertainment.

Time To Complete

The entire project was completed in 8 weeks (due largely to weather constraints and the need for a large number of wet coats of render).
