In this kitchen renovation project, completed in 2019 by the GT Carpentry team, the client was struggling with extreme damp issues caused by leaking appliances, voids in the sub-floor and the strong smell that accompanies dampness and mold.

We cleared the structure and poured a new concrete floor to fill the voids in the sub floor. We then insulated it and applied an external waterproof rendering.

The project included replacing the pipe-works, installing new floor coverings, replastering, new plumbing, a new roof, electrical adjustments and installing a new galley-style kitchen.

As a rental property, all works needed to be undertaken with minimal disruption to the clients.
