Kitchen Renovation & Internal Door Refurbishment

Project Description:

This project included a modern kitchen refurbishment downstairs and new doors fitted upstairs in the home of a happy repeat customer.

Internal Door Refurbishment

Upstairs, the GT Carpentry team fitted new pre-finished oak doors, architraves, frames and door stops, as well as a new oak staircase. 

These shaker-style oak doors are modern, durable and very high quality giving the hall stairs and landing a completely new, modern look.

The benefit of using pre-finished oak is that there is a lot less hassle with finishing/varnishing etc on site so while it’s slightly more expensive and requires extreme care when installing, it’s a great option for a smooth refit.

Modern Kitchen Refurbishment

Downstairs, the kitchen already had an optimal layout but the owners wanted a more modern feel to the space.

The GT Carpentry team removed the downstairs floor coverings and replaced them with new modern tiles and removed and replaced the old kitchen.

The handleless doors, smooth black finish, fitted appliances, white quartz countertop and white splashbacks combine to make a gorgeous modern kitchen that transforms mealtimes.

The team completely replastered the kitchen and provided new electrics throughout while maintaining the pre-existing pipework.

The also provided all painting and decorating works to ensure a high quality finish to the kitchen refurbishment.

Time To Complete

This project took just 4 weeks from start to finish. The customers didn’t have to leave the house as most works were done during working house, and were usually wrapped up before the customers came home.
